Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Duration: 18 months (possibility to extend or convert to FTE)
Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid Role (3 days onsite in a week)

Overview:
The role is for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), to drive reliability, automation, observability, and performance for mission-critical applications and platforms. This role blends software engineering with operational expertise to deliver stable, scalable, and resilient services, while reducing toil and shifting operations left.


Responsibilities are:
- work with stakeholders to define SLOs, SLIs, and error budget.
- build and enhance observability, telemetry, and monitoring tools
- identify and implement automation opportunities and reduce toil
- lead and complete production readiness activities (NFRs, Permit to Operate)
- provide application support


Qualifications:
- 2+ years leading, operating and performing SRE team
- 2+ years using Autosys and Oracle
- 2+ years supporting applications on Kubernetes / OpenShift and GCP
- Strong understanding of observability tools AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Splunk and Aternity
- Excellent communication and writing skills
