Jeeva's 2026 roadmap expands across three product teams: Front Office Workers, Back Office Workers (targeting $190B+ in US IT labor), and the Worker Builder Platform launching June 2026, enabling enterprises to design, configure, and deploy their own autonomous digital workers.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. AI Backend Engineer to join our Agentic Platform team in San Francisco. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents and multi-agent systems that power Jeeva's core product. You will work at the intersection of large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and backend engineering to build scalable, production-grade agentic workflows used by revenue teams globally. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, generative AI applications, and multi-agent systems for production environments.
• Build and optimize applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) including GPT, T5, BERT, and transformer-based architectures.
• Implement and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic RAG frameworks to improve agent accuracy and context-awareness
• Develop agent pipelines using frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI Gym, Rasa, Ray RLLib, or equivalent.
• Apply reinforcement learning, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning techniques to enhance agent decision-making and capabilities.
• Build robust backend systems and APIs using Python, integrated with databases such as MongoDB and other data stores.
• Integrate external data sources, third-party APIs, and databases into AI agent workflows for dynamic, real-time decision-making and knowledge retrieval.
• Deploy and manage AI workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), utilizing containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and engineering stakeholders to define and deliver product features.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical documentation to maintain high engineering standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: Annual Salary Range $130,000 - $180,000
