Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$1836.00/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room environment. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and effective procedure workflows. Responsibilities: Assess patients pre-operatively to determine their condition and readiness for surgery. Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical equipment and supplies are sterile and functional. Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout surgeries, responding to any changes. Document all patient care activities, observations, and surgical details accurately in the EMR. Support post-operative care, including patient recovery and family updates as needed. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license with current CPR/BLS certification. At least 1 year of recent experience in an operating room or surgical setting. Proficient in Meditech or similar electronic medical records systems. Knowledge of surgical procedures such as orthopedics, general, colorectal, urology, and gynecological surgeries.
