About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care CVOR experience required License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: 2 references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year must be included Flu vaccine required from 10/31 to 3/31 - Medical/Religious exemptions only COVID-19 vaccine required - Medical/Religious exemptions only Description: Position involves working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Required to be on-call for weekends, holidays, and hurricanes, with days off to be determined. Ratios for this position are 1:1 for patient care. Must have previous acute care experience in a CVOR setting. All candidates are expected to manage weekends as required, approximately every other weekend or a total of six shifts over a six-week period, based on unit needs. Familiarity with the EPIC documentation system is necessary. Float may be required based on unit demands. Certifications include BLS as mandatory, with ACLS being preferred. Duties may involve procedures such as percutaneous coronary angioplasty, coronary artery bypass graft, pacemaker placement, heart valve replacement, and others listed. Must be available for any required lab work within a defined timeframe after signing. References in the last year are necessary for submission. No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted. Health assessments and background checks will be conducted prior to offer.
