We are looking for a Sales & Customer Care Consultant to join a retail team in Mahwah, New Jersey on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, resolving a wide range of service questions, and contributing to sales and service performance. You will support customers through multiple communication channels while working closely with internal teams to deliver a smooth, detail-focused experience on every interaction.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver attentive, high-quality support that creates a positive experience for customers during every interaction.
• Handle a variety of customer inquiries, including questions about products, orders, returns, deliveries, registrations, and payment-related concerns.
• Identify potential service issues early and take initiative to prevent disruptions or delays in the customer journey.
• Contribute to departmental success by supporting sales activity and meeting established service, quality, and productivity expectations.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to strengthen service processes and expand product and policy knowledge.
• Respond to inbound and outbound communications through phone and email with accuracy, courtesy, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records by entering customer details, order information, and follow-up notes into internal systems.
• Support scheduling or appointment-related coordination when needed to ensure timely customer assistance.• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, attentive customer support.
• Accurate typing, data entry, and written correspondence skills with strong grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or handling inbound and outbound customer communications.
• Comfort using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other computer-based systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems independently while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build effective working relationships across departments.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and additional hours during peak business periods.
