EHS Manager

EHS Manager \n\nTimpl has partnered with a major EV battery manufacturing company is and seeking\na EHS Manager. \n\n MAJOR FUNCTION:\n * Oversee one or more plant-wide safety, health programs\n * Manage the ISO 45001 certification process and lead the Safety & Health\n Compliance Team to drive continuous improvement in all Safety & Health\n programs (PSM, DHA, OHSA Program)\n * Ensure hazard identification and mitigation for plant operations and\n administrative offices\n * Conduct daily line walks to ensure EH&S practices are being observed and to\n note any at-risk behaviors, unsafe conditions, faulty equipment or\n non-compliance with any EH&S related policies/regulations \n * Ensure timely communication of safety issues/concerns to department\n leadership \n * Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements across the organization\n * Participate in incident investigations and track corrective actions\n * Conduct new equipment reviews, mechanical risk assessments and ergonomic risk\n assessments\n * Participate in emergency response drills and critiques\n * Conduct new hire orientation, contractor safety and other EH&S related\n training topics\n * Develop/update site specific programs to ensure compliance with all\n applicable regulations\n * Communicate with the subsidies colleagues around the globe\n * Appropriate Respond in the event of accident, Prevention of recurrence.\n * Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:\n * Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain\n * Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container\n * Perform other duties as assigned\n\nPREREQUISITES:\n * Over 3+ years of experience in related fields
