Job Description
The Brick Mason will support residential and commercial construction projects through skilled masonry work, including bricklaying, wall restoration, and structural repairs. Reporting to the masonry foreman, this role will follow detailed layouts, prepare materials and work areas, and travel locally between job sites while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform masonry construction and bricklaying for residential and commercial projects.
- Mix and apply mortar according to project requirements.
- Prepare job sites and handle masonry materials.
- Read and follow detailed blueprints, plans, and layouts.
- Restore walls and complete structural masonry repairs.
- Perform surface finishing to achieve a clean, consistent result.
- Use masonry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow construction safety requirements and travel locally between job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in brick masonry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with bricklaying and mortar mixing.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed layouts.
- Proficiency with masonry tools.
- Knowledge of scaffolding safety and construction measurements.
- Strong attention to detail.
