You'll work directly with the founder and have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects and gain hands-on experience across marketing, social media, events, business development and the operations behind a growing membership-based business.What You'll Work OnYou'll have the opportunity to:* Help develop social media and LinkedIn content, member spotlights, campaigns and creative marketing ideas* Assist with planning our first Vendors for Healthcare educational conference, including speakers, sponsors, promotion, logistics and attendee engagement* Research and reach out to prospective members, sponsors, partners and other healthcare businesses* Help manage leads, contacts and outreach in HubSpot and support email and membership marketing initiatives* Research healthcare industry trends, trade shows, conferences and new opportunities for Vendors for Healthcare* Help analyze marketing and membership activity and brainstorm ways to increase awareness, engagement, membership conversions and retentioYou'll also help with the behind-the-scenes work that makes those projects happen — including research, spreadsheets, CRM updates, contact research, data entry and follow-up.We're looking for someone who enjoys both sides of that equation: coming up with the idea AND helping execute it.Who We'd Love to MeetYou may be a great fit if you:* Have strong written and verbal communication skills* Understand social media and are comfortable with LinkedIn* Are creative and enjoy bringing new ideas to the table* Are organized, dependable and attentive to details* Enjoy research, problem-solving and figuring things out* Are comfortable communicating professionally with businesses* Can work independently but aren't afraid to ask questions* Are interested in marketing, entrepreneurship, events, healthcare or growing a businessStudents studying Marketing, Sales, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, Business, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Administration or related fields are encouraged to apply.Even Better If You Know...Experience with any of the following is a plus, but we don't expect you to know everything:HubSpot or another CRM • LinkedIn marketing • Canva • Social media content creation • Email marketing • Event planning • Trade shows • B2B marketing • Healthcare or senior care • Excel/Google Sheets • PowerPoint • Marketing analyticsLocation & ScheduleCandidates must live in the Toledo/Northwest Ohio area or within reasonable driving distance.This is a flexible hybrid position, but not a fully remote internship. Some work can be completed remotely, while other projects may involve local meetings, events, conference planning or other in-person activities.The position is approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility around classes and other commitments.
