Internal/Family Medicine Physician

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Physician (MD/DO) to join a growing, mission-driven team delivering integrated medical and behavioral health care. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with substance use disorders, while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Experience in addiction medicine is preferred; however, training and mentorship will be provided for candidates with a strong interest in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress and outcomes
• Provide behavioral health support and counseling as appropriate Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
• Stay current with evolving medical research, treatment protocols, and best practices

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty
• Active, unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
• Solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred (training available)
• Critical care experience is a plus
