About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience License: Valid state license Certifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification Must-Have: Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settings Proficiency in imaging: Abdomen, Female Pelvis, Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Shoulder Familiarity with PACS and Siemens equipment Description: The schedule is Thursday to Monday. The working hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The average daily census is 35-40 cases per day. Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Electronic documentation is completed using Epic. Experience in special imaging procedures is required, including fusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, maximum intensity projection, multiplanar reconstruction, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo images, and spine imaging. Candidates must have knowledge of and experience using Siemens MRI equipment. Must be willing to work weekends and a 40-hour work week. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient workload. The department handles a variety of neuro, abdomen, and musculoskeletal imaging. Knowledge of oncology, stroke workup, and trauma imaging is preferred. Candidates must complete fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract. Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or direct supervisor.
