Health First Careers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Orthopedics department. As a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg / Orthopedics unit, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive and healing environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document patient's progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers
Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg or Orthopedics nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Additional Parameters:

This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time hours in the future
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
