The institution maintains modern equipment and established protocols necessary for effective cardiovascular disease management and patient care delivery. About the Facility Location Asheville features prominent attractions including the Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, and North Carolina Arboretum, offering visitors access to historic sites and natural landscapes. The area provides outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting on the French Broad River, ziplining adventures, and canopy tours. About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will provide comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care during day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, delivering non-ICU general cardiology floor coverage. Daily responsibilities include rounding on all floor-level cardiology patients, completing progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consults, and discharges, while ordering medications, tests, and procedures as appropriate. The clinician will perform new consults alongside the attending physician, managing patients primarily on step-down and cardiology units with support from Hospitalist Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary Critical Care, and Cardiovascular Surgery services.
