Role: Surgical Technician II Certified Responsibilities: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care. Ensure availability of instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgeries. Anticipate surgeons' needs, handle instruments, assist with room setup and turnover. Support sterilization procedures. Key Duties: Pass instruments to surgeons. Assist with terminal cleaning. Prepare instruments for sterilization. Adhere to policies such as count protocols and medication labeling. Mentor students and inexperienced staff on surgical techniques. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Graduate of a certified Surgical Technologist program or military-trained. CST certification. BLS certified. Advanced competencies in at least three specialties. Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical procedures. Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork.
