Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Peoria Nissan in Peoria, AZ. This role is responsible for assisting customers with selecting new and used vehicles, explaining features and benefits, and guiding them through test drives and purchase options. The Sales Associate will follow up with prospective and existing customers, maintain product knowledge of the Nissan lineup and competing brands, and collaborate with the finance and service departments to support a smooth customer experience. Daily tasks include greeting customers, qualifying their needs, presenting vehicles, preparing sales documentation, and using dealership tools and systems to manage leads and sales activities. The role requires consistent professionalism, adherence to dealership processes, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Qualifications Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen actively and communicate clearly. Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience meeting targets, handling objections, and closing deals. Comfort with learning automotive product knowledge, including vehicle features, warranties, and available packages. Basic proficiency with computers and CRM or sales software, and the ability to manage leads and documentation accurately. High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability, with a focus on creating a positive customer experience. Ability to work on-site in Peoria, AZ, including evenings and weekends as needed in a retail environment. Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
