Hiring: Production Cook – 1st Shift

Location: Ephrata, PA
Pay: $17.50/hr
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Full-Time
Overtime available as needed

Allegiance Staffing is hiring a Cook for a food manufacturing facility in Ephrata, PA. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking ingredients according to recipes and production specifications while ensuring product quality, consistency, and food safety standards.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with kitchen or food production experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook ingredients based on recipes and production orders
• Measure and handle ingredients accurately for batch production
• Operate kitchen and food processing equipment safely
• Complete production and food safety documentation (HACCP logs, checklists)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Identify and report any quality or safety concerns
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, commercial kitchen, or cooking role preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMPs)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout shift
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
