This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a high-acuity environment and are comfortable caring for a diverse patient population ranging from urgent care cases to trauma and critical care patients. Assignment Details Start Date: 09/21/2026 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week) Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Patient Ratio: Up to 1:5 Charting System: Cerner Interview Required Traveler must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Position Highlights This Emergency Department treats a wide variety of patients, including: Trauma and critical care patients Pediatric patients Psychiatric emergencies Urgent care and lower-acuity cases The ideal candidate will be comfortable with: Trauma room assignments as the bedside trauma RN Medication titrations Arterial line management Mass transfusion protocols Chest tube management Emergency stabilization and critical care interventions Delivering safe, high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications Active RN license in the state of practice Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience Graduate of an accredited RN program BLS Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification TNCC Certification NIHSS Certification Preferred Qualifications BSN Previous Cerner experience Prior travel nursing experience Additional Information Client interview required prior to offer Candidates selected for the shortlist will be contacted to schedule an interview Up to three shift cancellations per 13-week contract may occur per facility policy If you're an experienced ER nurse looking for a challenging, high-acuity assignment with exposure to trauma, critical care, pediatric, and psychiatric populations, we'd love to hear from you.
