Merchandiser/Cashier

Job Overview We are looking for a Merchandiser/Cashier to greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to merchandise or parts specialists, check out customers, deter shoplifters, and maintain the store front area. Responsibilities Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate product or parts specialist. Check out customers purchasing front‑floor merchandise quickly and friendly. Handle merchandise returns in an efficient manner. Keep the front area stocked, fronted, clean, and have full displays on a daily basis. Create display changes according to company guidelines and planograms. Make all out‑front price changes and ensure all sale signs and sale flyer racks are stocked. Remove all sale material when a sale ends and restore original pricing. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns. Work with the manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks. Act as the main shop‑lifting deterrent / front‑floor security. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities. Clock in and out according to company policy. Assist with the express lane when it is busy or not being utilized. Qualifications Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences. Good interpersonal, communicational, and organizational skills. Previous cashier and/or stocking experience is desired. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $11.41 – $20.30 per hour. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
