Dollar General Fleet – Experienced CDL‑A Driver (Bowling Green, KY) A full‑time position for drivers with a valid CDL‑A who can reliably deliver freight to Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. The role includes multi‑stop routes with weekly home time, competitive pay, and a range of benefits available from day one. Job Summary Drive a modern distribution truck, unload and load freight safely, and maintain on‑time delivery of goods to stores and back to the distribution center. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle both interstate and intrastate routes. Responsibilities Operate the vehicle safely and follow all DOT regulations. Deliver freight between the Dollar General Distribution Center, stores, and vendors on time. Unload and load multi‑stop freight and rolltainers at each delivery site. Return freight and rolltainers to the distribution center as required. Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation. Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and incidents. Adhere to Hours of Service requirements and safety standards. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. 21 years of age or older. At least one year of experience operating an over‑the‑road (OTR) or regional tractor‑trailer. No more than one moving violation or accident record in the past three years. Ability to unload freight and rolltainers safely at each delivery site. Must pass a DOT physical and drug test. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Benefits Pay up to $90,000 per year (depending on experience and route). CPM range 67–71 per mile and stop pay. Weekly home time with regional routes. Average 1,000 miles per week.
