Work Environment

Situated in a state-of-the-art hospital facility, the onsite work at Fortis Motion LLC provides an energetic and vibrant atmosphere for PTAs. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging in a fast-paced yet collaborative environment. The clinic features specialized equipment and an array of resources to support innovative therapy modalities, making it an ideal setting for PTAs who are eager to employ contemporary treatment techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, patient-specific, evidence-based therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist in the development and execution of individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, functionality, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting therapy methods as necessary based on real-time feedback to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercises that promote continued progress outside of the clinic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to align on patient goals and treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with organizational standards.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages patient engagement and positive outcomes.

At Fortis Motion LLC, you will work with a varied patient population, including adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and children requiring specialized therapeutic interventions. Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and be a graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Possess a current PTA license in California or be in the process of obtaining it upon hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate nature, and a genuine desire to improve the well-being of others.
• A team-oriented mindset with the capability to work independently when required.
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting is preferred, demonstrating adaptability and quick thinking.
• CPR certification is essential (or willingness to obtain prior to the start date).

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, particularly in orthopedics, sports medicine, and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards in a healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Fortis Motion LLC offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
