This role is ideal for an enthusiastic learner who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with teammates, and developing technical skills under senior guidance. You will assist with daily operations including backups, user account maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, and documentation. This position is fully onsite in Crystal City, VA.The Work:Support O&M activities for RHEL and Windows servers in AWSAssist with server provisioning, backup and recovery, patching, and STIG applicationHelp troubleshoot system and network issues and build diagnostic skillsLearn and apply RBAC, auditing, ACLs, and Active Directory fundamentalsContribute to secure system configurations for Linux and WindowsAid in monitoring AWS infrastructure and supporting compliance documentationCollaborate with the Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security teamsHere's What You Need:Active Secret clearanceBachelor's degreeExperience with or exposure to both Linux and AWS administrationAbility to assist with backup/restore processes and monthly OS patchingCompTIA Security+ CE certified (or ability to obtain within 60 days of starting)Familiarity with and willingness to learn:AWS cloudLinux (RHEL 7/8/9) and Windows systems administrationBash or PowerShell scripting for automationPrivilege management (sudo, UAC) and AWS network troubleshootingSecurity control assessmentsOn-site requirement: 5 days/week in Crystal City, VABonus If You Have:Familiarity with DISA STIGs, POA&Ms, or ATO processesSecurity Clearance Requirements:Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain SSBI.The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:$64,000 - $124,200 USDEqual Employment Opportunity Statement We believe that no one should be discriminated against because of their differences.
