In this role, you'll work alongside mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to develop electrical solutions from concept through production, testing, and commissioning.This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with 3–5 years of industrial manufacturing experience who's ready to take ownership of projects, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to the development of high-quality industrial equipment.What You'll Own Electrical System DesignDesign electrical systems for custom industrial equipment and engineered assembliesDevelop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and power distribution drawingsSelect electrical components based on project requirements, customer specifications, and applicable industry standardsDevelop engineering documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioningEnsure electrical designs meet performance, safety, and reliability requirementsð Engineering Documentation & Project SupportCreate and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), electrical drawings, and engineering documentationReview project specifications and implement engineering revisions throughout project executionParticipate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate engineering deliverables to support project schedules and customer expectationsMaintain accurate documentation throughout the entire project lifecycleð Manufacturing & Technical SupportPartner closely with Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Production, and Project Management throughout each projectSupport production, equipment testing, system validation, commissioning, and startup activitiesTroubleshoot electrical issues during fabrication, assembly, and field startupProvide technical guidance to manufacturing teams and assist with resolving production challengesHelp ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on scheduleWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology3–5 years of electrical engineering experience supporting industrial manufacturing, OEM equipment, custom machinery, or engineered systemsExperience designing electrical systems for industrial equipment, machinery, process equipment, or automated manufacturing systems Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, or similar electrical design software Experience developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and engineering documentation Knowledge of industrial controls, motor controls, power distribution, instrumentation, VFDs, and automation systems Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial communication networks Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, or other applicable electrical codes and standards Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teamsYou'll Excel Here If You...Enjoy designing electrical systems that become real-world industrial equipment.Like owning projects from concept through production and startup.Thrive in collaborative manufacturing environments where engineering and production work closely together.Can balance technical problem-solving with project schedules and customer requirements.Want to continue growing your engineering career while making a visible impact on every project.Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily office-based with regular interaction throughout an active manufacturing facility. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, production, and operations teams while supporting projects from concept through commissioning. PPE—including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear—is required when entering production areas.
