Position Overview

Impex/Marcy is seeking an experienced  Social Media Community Engagement Specialist to grow and strengthen our online fitness communities. This role focuses on driving meaningful engagement, building audience relationships, managing influencer and UGC partnerships, and identifying opportunities to expand brand awareness.

 

The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and experienced in developing engaged social media communities. They should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with our internal marketing and creative teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Build and grow engaged communities across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Proactively engage with audiences through comments, conversations, and community interactions to strengthen brand relationships.
• Identify high-opportunity platforms, engagement trends, and strategies to expand community participation and brand awareness.
• Research, establish, and manage relationships with influencers and UGC creators, including outreach, product collaborations, deliverables, and performance tracking.
• Analyze platform performance, including engagement rates, audience growth, reach, and community activity, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Share audience insights, engagement trends, and content recommendations with internal social media and creative teams.
• Execute and refine community-building initiatives in alignment with established brand guidelines and social media strategies.
• Prepare regular performance reports highlighting community growth, engagement results, and actionable recommendations.

 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in social media community engagement, management, or related roles.
• Demonstrated success growing and maintaining active online communities.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and their respective analytics tools.
• Experience identifying, coordinating, and managing influencer or UGC creator relationships.
• Ability to interpret social media analytics and develop actionable engagement strategies.
• Excellent written communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independently managing daily community engagement.
• Ability to collaborate with creative and marketing teams and communicate audience insights effectively.
• Experience in fitness, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer products is a plus.

We're looking for someone who understands that successful social media goes beyond publishing content and gaining followers. This person should know how to  build genuine communities, encourage meaningful interactions, and turn audience insights into opportunities for brand growth.

 

This position primarily focuses on community development and engagement. Content production, scheduling, and customer service are handled by other team members.
