Production Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a Production Supervisor to manage small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, meeting production targets, developing team members, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving key business metrics. Job Description Job Title Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities Supervise production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Ensure production plans and operational goals are achieved. Promote and maintain a safe work environment while enforcing safety procedures. Lead, train, coach, and develop production team members. Allocate manpower effectively and manage attendance. Analyze production performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor quality performance and address production issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges. Lead improvement activities focused on safety, quality, cost, throughput, and waste reduction. Present production metrics and operational updates as needed. Build effective working relationships with employees and leadership across the organization. Utilize Microsoft Office applications to support daily operations and reporting. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience working in an automotive manufacturing environment. Ability to work first or second shift, overtime, and weekends as required. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Goal-oriented with strong leadership skills. Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Two or more years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
