Job Position: CDL-B Driver
Location: Tacoma, WA 98421 Pay Rate: $26.00/hr Description: Driving: Operate a Class B commercial truck safely along local delivery routes while obeying all traffic laws.- Loading & Unloading: Hand-load and hand-unload goods using equipment like hand trucks, pallet jacks, or lifts. Heavy lifting is required.
- Customer Service: Deliver items directly to customer locations, secure signatures, and handle paperwork or payments.
- Vehicle Inspections: Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules.
- Inventory Control: Verify shipping orders against actual cargo to ensure complete and accurate deliveries.
- License: Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B.
- Certifications: Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items (frequently up to 50 lbs or more) for long periods.
- Experience: 3+ years of Previous commercial driving and delivery experience.
- Skills: Good communication skills, basic math skills, and reliability.
- Hazmat endorsement required
