Overview

Position Type: Part Time Job Shift: Any Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Road Warrior Category: Hospitality - Hotel

Description

General Purpose: This position is responsible for delivering and picking up customer linen in a timely and professional manner within assigned routes utilizing delivery vehicles like box trucks and/or cargo vans.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Operate company-assigned box trucks or cargo vans along designated or alternate delivery routes
Deliver and collect linen carts (metros) on time and obtain signed delivery tickets
Reconcile delivery and pickup loads to ensure accuracy
Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
Keep delivery vehicle clean, disinfected, and refueled at the end of each shift
Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
Communicate route updates or customer concerns to the Logistics Manager
Maintain professional appearance in company-provided uniform and deliver courteous customer service
Perform other duties as assigned
Frequent loading/unloading of linen carts

Qualifications

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card
Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally
Must be highly punctual, deadline-driven, and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently and making decisions on the road
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts based on business needs
