Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join our inpatient neurosurgery team. The position involves providing coverage during nights and weekends with 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, hold BC Neurosurgery certification, and possess active SC licensing along with BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. The role includes inpatient/acute care, ER, mental health/psych, and surgical care responsibilities. EMR documentation will be through Epic. Prior pediatrics experience is preferred but not mandatory. Credentialing is estimated to take 60-90 days.

Schedule & Shifts:

• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:00 – 06:00)
• Coverage includes nights and weekends
• No call required

Patient Population:

• Adults: 90%
• Pediatrics: 10%

Requirements:

• BC Neurosurgery
• SC License (Active)
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications
• DEA license
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Clean background

Pay Rate: $166.92/hour

Credentialing & Travel:

• Credentialing takes approximately 60-90 days
• All billable travel (airfare, hotel, rental car, mileage, etc.) included
