Accounting Manager
We're partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to oversee core accounting operations, support strategic initiatives, and drive process improvements across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the month-end and year-end close process
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and variance reporting
Maintain and strengthen internal controls
Partner with operations leadership to provide financial insights and decision support
Support ERP, reporting, and accounting automation initiatives
Coordinate internal and external audits
Mentor and develop accounting staff while promoting operational excellence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, financial modeling)
Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence/reporting tools
Proven leadership, analytical, and process improvement skills
