- Position: Critical Care Nurse (PCU)
- Shift: 19:00-07:00
- Location: Kingwood, TX
- Unit Information:
- Total Beds: 24
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 2 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 2 PCTs
- Patient Ratios: Maximum 5:1
- Equipment: Standard EMR Meditech Expanse
- Hiring Profile:
- Must-Have Skills:
- IMU/PCU experience (1 year or more)
- Preferred Skills:
- Charge Nurse experience
- Experience with Meditech Expanse
- Typical Procedures:
- Thoracentesis
- Chest tubes
- Standard nursing skills (medication administration, RN assessments and reassessments)
- Communication with all members of the care team
- Documentation in EHR-Meditech Expanse
- Care of patients post-heart catheterization
