OverviewAs an Software Developer, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice delivering software features, APIs, and micros-service solutions. We are looking for candidates with experience with 3-5 years experience writing software using Agile and DevSecOps methods such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and test automation.ContributionsDesign, develop, and deploy modular micro-services and cloud-based systemsUnderstanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to other developersWrite and debug code for innovative software solutionsTroubleshoot software quality, security and reliability issuesParticipate in code reviews and quality assurance activitiesAutomate unit and functional testsTesting and examining code written by others and analyzing resultsEnsure that software is secure against cyber threatsIdentifying technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and ‘fixes’Document software code, features, and training guidesDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendationsLeverage virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systemsAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team membersEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedQualificationsAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security ClearanceBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience3 Years of experience with one or more programming languages (Java, Ruby, react, C++, C)3 Years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket3 Years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages (Java, .NET, Python)Experience with one or more clouds (I.e. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $170,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
