Job Title: Bartender / Cook Location: Brewed Omen Position Type: Part-Time
Job Summary We are seeking a versatile and energetic individual to join our team as a Bartender / Cook. This dual role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service while preparing both food and beverages. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong multitasking skills and a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities Bartending Duties:
- Greet and serve customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes.
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, daily specials, and customer preferences.
- Check identification to verify age requirements.
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate tabs.
- Open / Close responsibilities as needed.
- Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, kitchen tools, and food prep areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking and rotation of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- 1+ years previous experience as a bartender, cook, or in a combined role preferred.
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (kegs, boxes, kitchen supplies).
- Comfortable working in hot and fast-paced environments.
