Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $28/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm

We are seeking a skilled structural drafter to transform architectural drawings into detailed shop drawings, facilitating the manufacturing team in constructing houses efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Convert architectural drawings into shop drawings for manufacturing purposes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with quality standards and are ready for production.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to address inefficiencies and improve processes.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the drafting process.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for precise drafting.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Carpentry skills are advantageous.
• Open to candidates straight out of tech school.

Work Environment:

The role operates from 8 AM to 5 PM within a job trailer located inside a hoop building. The initial phase involves building three spec homes with a small team, focusing on identifying inefficiencies. The team is set to expand rapidly, aiming to construct homes within a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
