Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role based in Westminster, CO. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, setting up instruments and materials, and assisting chairside throughout patient visits. Daily responsibilities include taking and preparing X-rays as permitted, documenting patient information, providing pre- and post-treatment instructions, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role also involves instrument sterilization, maintaining infection control protocols, restocking supplies, and helping with front-desk tasks such as scheduling and patient check-in as needed. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to provide efficient, high-quality care in a respectful, team-oriented environment. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Dental Assisting, including chairside support and patient preparation. Knowledge of Dental Care and Dentistry principles, including common procedures and dental terminology. Understanding of Oral Care practices and ability to educate patients on proper home care routines. Proficiency in Sterilization techniques and infection control standards in a dental setting. Relevant Dental Assistant certification or training program completion, as required by Colorado regulations. CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and inclusive approach to patient care. Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dental practice management software and digital imaging systems is beneficial.
