Patient Access SpecialistRAMC is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to join us! This position would be at our Physicians Group Clinic! Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM - 5PM with possible weekendsWhat you'll do:As a Patient Access Specialist, you'll help create a welcoming and efficient experience for patients visiting our Physician's Group Clinic. You'll assist with patient check-in and scheduling, gather and accurately enter patient information, and perform a variety of clerical and reception duties to help keep the clinic running smoothly.Education and Training Required:High school graduate or equivalent.Experience:Experience working in a hospital or other medical environment is preferred.Special knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Good organizational skillsGood time managementExcellent hand-written and oral communication skills, grammar, punctuation, and styleAbility to work independentlyResourceful; is aware of and utilizes the available resourcesBasic computer knowledgePhysical Requirements:Continuously sits at a deskFrequently stands to perform tasksOccasionally push/pull with up to 50 poundsWhy Join RAMC?Reedsburg Area Medical Center is nationally ranked as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
