EMS Coordinator - Emergency Medical Services

Job Details Kettering Health Hamilton | Hamilton | Full-Time | First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities: The EMS Coordinator works collaboratively with Hospital Administration, Emergency Department Leadership, Trauma Program Leadership, Emergency Department Staff and all other departments assisting in the care of patients arriving via Emergency Service (ES). The primary focus and role of the EMS Coordinator is to work with surrounding ES providers, such as Fire, EMS, Police, although not limited to further interaction with Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), local and regional government agencies. The EMS Coordinator will assist such departments in training, quality improvement, loop closure and serve as a conduit of information flow between such organization and Kettering Health Network (KHN). All while the EMS Coordinator ensures the delivery of information and training remains within KHN’s missions, vision, values and philosophies. Applicants Must Have: Ohio Paramedic required. BLS, ACLS, and PHTLS/ITLS Instructor and Ohio EMS Con-Ed Instructor all preferred, required within one year of hire. Preferred Qualifications Ohio Paramedic Required. PALS preferred.
