Tamarac Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as a Nursing Unit Manager .

Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations for an assigned unit
Supervise, support, and provide direction to nursing staff
Monitor resident care and nursing documentation
Assist with assessments and care planning
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
Address staff, resident, and family concerns
Support staff education and professional development
Collaborate with the DON and interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

Current Florida RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric care
Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Current CPR certification
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lead a nursing team in a fast-paced environment
