Exercise Physiologist

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position requires expertise in leading and prescribing exercise for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. The exercise physiologist will serve as a role model for cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation by integrating the role components of clinician, teacher, consultant, administrator and researcher. Assessing, assisting with exercise, and charting are everyday job components. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employee must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervision means the primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.


What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (EXERCISE) Exercise Specialist/Physiologist, or Bachelors Degree
• 2 years' experience Required
