Hardware Engineering Manager, Fleet Analysis and Central Triage, PIE

Work directly with customers, data center teams and manufacturing teams to understand and analyze hardware quality issues.Partner with internal hardware and software teams and external vendors to triage and root cause hardware reliability issues.Lead systemic changes to drive continuous improvement in fleet analysis and triage of hardware issues to get to improve speed to resolution. Represent the Fleet Hardware Reliability team within the broader platforms design, deployment and supply chain organizations.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.6 years of experience working on hardware quality within a data center or IT environment. 3 years of experience in technical leadership.Experience in data center and enterprise hardware (servers, storage, networking and AI systems), design processes and verification methodologies.Preferred qualifications:PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience presenting to executive leadership.Experience working with the cross functional engineering teams, supply chain team, and the Data Center team.Our Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team designs and builds the hardware and software technologies that power all of Google's services.
