Overview

We are looking for a Behavioral Health Provider LCSW(A), LCMHC(A) or LMFT(A) to join our family. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health, this person works as a part of a multidisciplinary treatment team in two locations, including a Health Department (3 days)  and private maternity clinic (2 days). Provides behavioral health and substance abuse screening, brief intervention, education, and referral services for patients presenting in the health department/private maternity clinic including those receiving Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). Coordinates services with the medical or obstetric provider and other clinic staff to facilitate the provision of holistic, whole-person healthcare for all patients. Provides ongoing consultation and treatment planning support for medical staff in their work with patients with psychosocial, behavioral health, chronic disease, behavior change, and/or substance use concerns. Is knowledgeable of and adheres to all policies, professional practice standards, philosophies, and requirements for professional clinical practice.

Behavioral Health Provider LSCW(A), LCMHC(A) or LMFT(A) - Qualifications:  

Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in a public health setting

Certification(s): None 

Education: Master’s Degree

Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Certification (LCSW or LCSW-A) in good standing with the Social Work Certification and Licensure Board of North Carolina (or equivalent).
