Plant PLC Programmer

Your Tasks Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robot, PLC, HMI, vision sensor, vision system, barcode scanner, drives, electrical distribution, and pneumatic distribution programs Design, develop, and implement new machine controls systems including robot, PLC, HMI, vision sensor, vision system, barcode scanner, drives, electrical distribution, and pneumatic distribution programs Schedule and complete back‑ups of all electronic controls systems including robot, PLC, HMI, vision sensor, vision system, barcode scanner, drives, electrical distribution, and pneumatic distribution programs Develop and execute training for development of other team members on controls related systems Provide a higher level of support for maintenance technicians during breakdown situations or when requested Recommend and implement system modifications under the direction of maintenance and engineering Coordinate interface between shop‑floor IT and industrial networks including Profibus, Profinet Support equipment procurement within the procurement phases (design, delivery release, final acceptance) and sign off of the equipment Operate within the confines of industry‑accepted standards such as ISO14001 and IATF Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor, including after‑hours support, remote support, and organization and tracking of maintenance and programming work orders Your Profile College Technologist / Technician Diploma or Electrical engineer with extensive controls background Minimum 2-4 years controls‑related experience in an automotive environment Benefits Brose offers a high‑tech work environment and a wide range of benefits.
