The successful candidate will have a passion for organization and a high attention to detail. Complimentary Cruise Tickets & Uniforms Crew Recognition Awards Complimentary Meals Crew Referral Program - up to $200.00 per referral Crew Events Paid Training Duties and Responsibilities Provide amazing hospitality to coworkers and guests as prescribed in our RESPECT Service System. Receive all Food and Beverage items, including but not limited to dry goods & sundries, perishable food items, linens, liquor/beer/wine/non-alcoholic beverages, smallwares, glassware; ensuring that the products received match the corresponding invoice and reporting any discrepancies and/or damages. Ensure the proper handling and administration of invoices and documents. Receive, store, and organize food and supplies using proper food handling techniques including stock rotation for products that are sensitive to date codes and monitoring temperatures of perishable products. Ensure best practice of First In First Out when receiving products and preparing deliveries. Update inventory records and participate in inventory audits. Assist Front of House crew if required. Assist Back of House crew if required. Assist in cleaning and organizing of hospitality vessel holds and land-based storage areas. Assist with food deliveries to all vessels, as needed. Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time. Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards. Completes other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty. Requirements & Qualifications O.S.S.D. or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience. Previous receiving experience preferred. Smart Serve Certificate required. Food Handler’s Certificate required. Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential. Ability to deal with shifting priorities. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers. Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others. Will work for extended periods of time without sitting. Required to lift furniture and other heavy items up and down stairs. Will be required to be available for work on all weekends and major holidays. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 60 lbs (27 kgs). If required, wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. non-slip shoes, gloves, weather appropriate dress attire, sun protection).
