Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Job Description

This is a full-time position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) covering night shifts. The role has become available due to a staff member leaving for health reasons, and we are seeking a skilled candidate to join our team during this time of significant personnel shortage.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across a diverse range of units including NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatrics.
• Administer treatment plans as prescribed by physicians and contribute to patient care evaluations.
• Utilize respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP devices, among others.
• Respond to emergencies and provide care in critical situations.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a guaranteed weekly hours total of 36 hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RRT certification and maintain current BLS certification.
• ACLS and NRP certification are preferred, particularly for those working within NICU.
• A minimum of 3 years of acute care experience is required.
