Warehouse Coordinator

Essential Functions A Ziegenfelder Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for: Receive Incoming Raw Materials Inspect truck and follow the SOPs for receiving and storing raw materials. Receive materials in the WMS. Record receipt into the receiving log and report to finance at the end of each month. Label raw material properly. Record lot numbers (sticks). Ensure receiving paperwork is signed off and that raw material matches what was received. Submit receiving paperwork to the appropriate person. Communicate with suppliers and carriers to ensure deliveries are set and properly planned. Manage inventory warehouse and online. Manage par levels at the warehouse. Maintain, update, and edit the WMS and inventory worksheet for accuracy. Assist with end of month inventory. Track back hauls and report to finance (no more than 5 per week). Review schedule at least one week in advance and communicate any possible shortages or issues. Purchase raw materials. Communication Communicate daily activities to the Freezer Manager, Freezer staff, and operations team. Ensure deliveries are set and properly planned with suppliers and carriers. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent level of experience. 5+ years of warehouse experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate electric powered forklifts and electric powered pallet jacks is a plus. Available to work afternoon or night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility across all shifts is a plus. Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English. Physical Abilities Possess visual acuity to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks. May need to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 30 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly. May need to climb, balance, stoop, crouch, reach, stand, push, and pull frequently during a shift. Working Conditions Subject to cold temperatures of less than 32°F for more than one hour with proper protective equipment. May be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protective equipment.
