Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patients with behavioral and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans
• Provide and coordinate nursing care for behavioral health patients
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Support discharge planning and educate patients and families
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support team collaboration
• Deliver compassionate, recovery-focused care across diverse patient populations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience required
• Pediatric behavioral health experience required
• Active Michigan RN License required at time of submission
• Active BLS Certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
