Family Medicine Physician - Outpatient
Location: Owingsville, KY Job Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary and chronic care.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals.
- Build long-term patient relationships and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using eClinicalWorks.
- Participate in a light 1:12 call rotation, primarily phone-based.
- Collaborate with experienced clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility.
- BLS certification required.
- DOT course required.
- New graduates are welcome.
- Strong interest in serving a rural community.
- Long-term commitment and ties to the Owingsville area are strongly preferred.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- 4- or 5-day workweek options
- Light call: 1:12 rotation
- Primarily phone-based call
- No regular hospital rounds
