Overview Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for the Sonographer position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Zanesville, OH . Job Details Job Description: Location: Zanesville, OH Schedule: 40 hours per week Shift: 5x8 hrs Days | Mon, Wed, and Thu from 0745 am to 415 pm. Pay Range: $2900 Weekly gross Job Summary We are seeking a skilled General (AB/OB) sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in abdominal and OB/GYN imaging , be proficient with Epic EMR , and demonstrate excellent patient care and technical skills. Perform general, abdominal, and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols Accurately capture, analyze, and document diagnostic images for physician interpretation Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all procedures Review physician orders and patient history prior to examinations Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality Enter and manage patient data and exam results using Epic EMR Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards Assist with training or mentoring students or new staff as needed Strong knowledge of abdominal and OB/GYN sonography Proficiency in Epic EMR documentation Excellent patient interaction and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong attention to detail and image quality Time management and organizational skills Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited program Certifications & Licensure RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) required Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Interested?
