Warehouse Associate

Job Summary Locates, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials. Duties/Responsibilities Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator. Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. Picks, packs, and ships materials and products. Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise. Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. Participates in quality improvement efforts. Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. One to two years related experience or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. No CDL required. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Forklift certified preferred. Acute attention to detail. Essential/Physical Job Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Forklift - trained and certified by the OSHA and company standards (if company provides training, you must attend this mandatory training). Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather. Must be able to stand, walk, and sit regularly, in addition to being able to utilize hand dexterity, climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, and kneeling, regularly as the job requires. Must be able to work under extreme weather conditions (heat and cold) frequently based on what is expected to complete the job. Must be able to hear, see, communicate and utilize the necessary equipment required to complete the job in a timely manner. Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
