Job Description

Seeking a motivated network administrator with at least three (3) years of relevant IT experience to support our office locations in north and central Florida. This IT position is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. All applicants must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff members.

This position requires a clear driving record to support frequent travel to multiple offices within the state of Florida.

This position will work under immediate supervision of the local branch management, regional IT staff as well as rely on established guidelines to perform functions of the job.

• Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.

• Support and maintain user account information including rights, security and system groups.

• Assist in negotiations of vendor contracts and services

• Archiving of data and disposal of old equipment

• Track software licenses installed on computer equipment

• Field user support

• Active Directory Administration

• Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012

• Microsoft Hyper-V

• Windows 7, 8

• Primavera Project Management Software

• Site Manager Construction Management Software

• Symantec Backup Exec 2012

• Must be familiar with the following engineering software packages:

o Bentley Microstation and GeoPak

o Autodesk AutoCAD

o PosiSoft

o Syncro

o AutoTurn

• Must be familiar with the following FDOT Construction Software:

o EDMS / Hummingbird

Hardware Specifics:

• HP Proliant servers, desktops and laptops

• Tablet and mobile devices

o Microsoft Surface Pro, iPhones, iPads, Android devices

• Dell SonicWALL TZ and NSA firewalls

• ShoreTel VoIP

• Netgear PoE network switches

• Riverbed WAN acceleration appliances

Required Education and Experience:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience

• At least three (3) years of relevant IT experience

Certifications:

• A+, Network+, Security+

• MSCE / MCITP certifications or equivalent experience
