Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating RN in cardiovascular and general operating room cases, including CABG, mitral valve replacements, femoral bypass, and thrombectomy procedures
• Support a 1:1 RN-to-surgical tech ratio in general cases and a 2:2 ratio in CV cases across 10 OR suites
• Collaborate with surgical technologists, charge nurses, and CNAs during day shift operations
• Provide on-call coverage as needed, including 1–2 nights per week and approximately 1 weekend per month for emergency case coverage
• Document patient care accurately using MediTech EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific policies, including daily scrub change requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular OR nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate CV surgical procedures (e.g., CABG, valve replacements, vascular cases)
• Ability to circulate general surgical procedures and other case types
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic surgical cases
• Robotic surgery experience (e.g., GYN, general, urology)
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR
