Immunizing Pharmacist
Location: Alexandria, LA 71303 Duration: 3 Months Shift: M-F 10-6, 40 hrs./week
Job Summary: Seeking a licensed Immunizing Pharmacist to administer vaccines, educate patients, and provide exceptional pharmacy care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Administer immunizations (Flu, COVID-19, Shingles, etc.).
- Counsel patients on vaccines and medications.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
- Immunization Certification (APhA or equivalent).
- Valid driver's license.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
