Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday | On-call required (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights) | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience, including pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op phases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient OR operations
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled during overnight hours
• Adhere to sterile technique, infection control protocols, and facility safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Operating Room nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Comfort and flexibility with on-call scheduling requirements
• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties
